Shawl Knitting Pattern | Arquitectura (PDF Download - PATTERN ONLY)
$6.00
The Arquitectura shawl was inspired by the incredible designs of Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí. One look at any of his buildings and you will be captivated by his “Art Nouveau” style. I was taken by the “trencadís” {surfaces covered with irregular ceramic pieces} Gaudí included in so many of his designs- which is why you see the different mosaic stitches throughout the shawl. So, get a little wild and have some fun with this colorful shawl!
This is a triangular shawl worked from the top down in garter stitch, mosaic knitting, and brioche knitting.
This shawl was created in collaboration with the amazing Connie of ChileKnitz for Vogue Knitting Live New York in January of 2020.
